A Garden to DYE For - Itajime Fabric Dyeing, #444506
A modern twist on an ancient textile art, we will use Itajime shibori to create a fun-filled garden full of inspiration. Each student will receive a special set of high-quality acrylic itajime templates, designed just for this workshop. Intriguing shapes for centers, petals, and borders create a big, bold, and graphic indigo garden. These pretty posies are perfect on their own, or make great backgrounds for quilting, embroidery, beading - however they spark your creativity!

Let's Dye a Charm Pack! This productive and fun class is a great way to learn about printmaking using corn dextrin and potato dextrin. Each student will receive a pack of stencils, perfect for quilt patterns! We will learn about resists, dye paint, and you can count on a "solidish" companion for each print! Freezing Your Backsides: Ice Dyeing, #444505
Explore the infinite possibilities for dyeing your quilt backs in this fun and exciting variation of snow and ice dyeing. After a discussion of design elements and color selections, each student will fold and dye one wide-width Ice Dyed Mandala measuring 104” square.
