I admit it! I'm a FIBER FREAK! As a creative, I have a deep need to get some sort of colorful fiber in my hands at least once a day! I knit a bit, crochet, embroidery, embellish, couch, and cross stitch, with spinning and weaving still on my bucket list!
I also love organic, sustainable (easy on the planet) fiber and have found some fun ways to quickly and easily add my own flair to these "vegan fibers" that I would love to share with you!
Each student will get a wide variety of several types of yarn (think full and partial skeins of soy, tencel, peppermint and yes, I've even got MILK yarn!) You will also get several types of roving (rose, hemp, linen, flax) along with a variety of threads, twine, and string. Each kit will be bursting with your Daily Dose of Fiber!
You will also receive a rainbows worth of dye and fixatives, detergent, gloves and mask, along several pertinent tools, as well as an invitation to the class' private facebook page. This is where we can prepare for class together, share information all in one spot, and also exchange our wonderful show and tell!
Then we will share time together in a Zoom Classroom on Saturday, July 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon Arizona time! Student Supply List
